I am an artist, Mental Health Counselor and art therapist.  I was born and raised in New York city, where i currently live. I love to make things and have used art as a tool in my own life for healing. I believe in the power of creativity and want to help others on their journey to self discovery and Wholeness.

Artist Statement

In my artwork, I look to capture the unseen world in material form. Using shapes, color and written text, I bring life to my internal world which is reflective of the collective unconscious. The fluidity of watercolor in contrast with written word highlights the ephemeral nature of all things and nature’s constant search for reorganization. Images, shapes and symbols are extended to the page or canvas. Ancient symbols bring underlying order to chaos and introduce new forms that encourage color, growth, expression and expansion. I believe that examining the individual psyche through creative process questions and dismantles systems of oppression and patriarchal power. I hope my artwork reveals the process of creation from a regulated and held space and presents the possibility of new ways of being in the world.
